Brookmead Primary School
Brookmead School is a Foundation Primary School for children aged 4 to 11, situated in Ivinghoe on the border with the village of Pitstone. In 1967 the school was relocated from the old school building on The Lawn to the meadow beside the Whistle Brook and became Brookmead School. There are approximately 320 children on roll.

Windmill Pre-School
Established in 1960, Windmill Pre-school, has in recent years celebrated its 50th anniversary with a move to fantastic purpose-built new premises.
Windmill Pre-school is registered as a charitable organisation and is run by a Management Committee, comprised of parents, on a voluntary basis. We have a team of highly dedicated, qualified Pre-school staff that regularly attend courses to keep their knowledge up to date.
Since January 2011, Windmill Pre-school have been based from a purpose-built pre-school building on the Brookmead School site in Ivinghoe where the focus is to ensure that each child is learning through play and making friends. A range of daily activities to encourage children’s creativity, curiosity and co-ordination, all within the Early Years curriculum are provided
